Density Bead Directions

Thanks for purchasing the Density Beads. You will need:

• Kosher or Ice Cream Salt (pure NaCl)

• Distilled water

• 91% Isopropyl alcohol

• 16 ounce water bottle

Directions

1. Drink the water from the water bottle and rinse it out. 

2. Rinse the water bottle with the distilled water 2 times. When you shake the bottle with water in it the bubbles should dissipate quickly.

3. Add 1 cup of distilled water to the bottle. 

4. If you have a scale weigh out 2 ounces of salt. If not measure out 8 teaspoons of salt.

5. Pour the salt into the the water bottle. Replace the lid and mix thoroughly.

6. If needed pour out some salt water so that it is less than half full. ​

7. Add the packet of beads.

8. Add the 91% isopropyl alcohol to fill the bottle.

9. Screw the lid on tight and give it a good shake. The beads will separate to the top and the bottom of the bottle and then slowly meet in the middle.

10. Once you get it working, glue the lid to the bottle and enjoy.
